We are now looking for a self-driven and committed person to take on the role as Product Manager in the newly established IT function. The right person will be pivotal in building up IT in Aker Qrill Company. The role will work closely with the business and take responsibility for part of the IT portfolio in the company. This is a role where you will have the opportunity to own and develop your own area within IT, ensuring that IT helps drive value creation together with the business functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, and management of enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify application requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee application lifecycle, including updates, upgrades, and system integrations.
- Ensure effective troubleshooting and support for application-related issues, maintaining high availability and performance.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners for application procurement, customization, and support.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure application performance and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with cyber security, data protection, and compliance standards
- Coordinate with IT and cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience as a Product Manager, Application Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the role technology can play in a business and how it can support business objectives
- Good understanding of integrations and dataflows
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM and other systems administrative processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex application issues.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Leadership skills to manage teams and projects.
- Knowledge of cyber security, data privacy, and compliance standards.

About the Company
We develop ingredients for use in the aquaculture and animal feed markets, as well as deliver raw materials for production of human health supplements. Our value chain stretches from our vessels and sustainable krill harvesting operations in Antarctica, through our logistics hub in Montevideo, and all the way to customers around the world.
The Company operates a fleet of four vessels, including one cargo vessel and three fishing vessels, leading krill fishing within the Antarctic region. The three fishing vessels operate on the fishing grounds year-round, except for one month in October, which is dedicated to maintenance and repairs while the cargo vessel transports products and crew to and from the fishing grounds throughout the year.
Our offices are located in Fornebu and Aalesund, with the logistics base and product warehouse in Montevideo, Uruguay. We are about 500 employees globally, of which about 430 work on board our krill vessels in Antarctica. We are a diverse company with more than 25 nationalities, spread across all time zones and most continents.
